We have been using hot peppers for many generations. It is not just famous for being delicious but it is also comprised of benefits that have been proven best for the health.


Hot pepper consists of a Nutrient Capsaicin. Capsaicin is an active phytochemical that provides heat in the sauces of the pepper. It provides the burning sensation when it comes in contact with the skin and tissues.

In a scientific review of the School of Medicine (Wayne State University), it has been found that the growth of leukemia cancer and human breast cells is prevented by the capsaicin. It has been proved that it helps in fighting the cancer cells of associated cancer.


Although it does not kill the normal cells in the body except for the destroying and metastatic cells. School of Medicine has hoped that in the future it may also help in other diseases beyond breast cancer and leukemia.


Capsaicin has also shown an interaction with the receptors of the Neuron in a way that causes certain chemical reactions which leads to apoptosis or cell death of tumor cells.


In a research of the Federation of European Biochemical Societies, it was published that capsaicin in a hot pepper also helps beyond curing cancer. Capsaicin has been reported to improve heart health.


It also helps in preventing diabetes and cardiovascular diseases. It has been already proved that inflammation is caused by Obesity (excessive weight gain). Inflammation plays a very important role in atherosclerosis and Type 2 Diabetes.


The complications such as heart disease, stenosis, myocardial infarctions, etc. etc. are caused by atherosclerosis. Adipokines are certainly boosted by capsaicin. If capsaicin is taken in a diet, it will prevent the body against disease.


In the research of the British Journal of Nutrition, it was published that capsaicin controls the hunger level. It was proved that capsaicin makes people eat fewer calories.


A Japanese woman was taken as a sample in research. She has taken capsaicin in her diet and it was revealed later that the amount of protein and fat took in the diet was reduced.


Another Caucasian Man was taken as a sample in research and it was revealed that by taking capsaicin in his diet, it has decreased the consumption of the carbohydrates. Capsaicin also helps in regulating the metabolism and more calories are burnt through this.


Although it is not as effective on burning the calories as it is effective on appetite.

As people are suffering from hypertension disease that leads to the diseases of the heart and causes sudden death. In research of the British Cardiovascular Society,


it was reported that the blood pressure is decreased through the capsaicin taken in diet. These benefits are only beneficial for people who are suffering from hypertension. It has also had a positive effect on kidneys that helps in flushing sodium out of the body but it won’t excrete the excessive sodium. Only sodium that is being unhealthy for the body is excreted out.


In research of San Francisco, it was discovered that capsaicin helps in destroying the fibers of the nerve that may be responsible for giving an outlet to Herpes Viruses. As most of the eye infections are caused by the Herpes Simplex Type 1 virus.


The strain of this virus is mainly responsible for the cold sores while Herpes Simple Type 2 virus is responsible for causing sexually transmitted diseases (STDs). In research, an injection of capsaicin was injected under the skin of Rats. The injection leads to the destruction of nerve fibers that contained the Substance P. After that, the virus was taken out and injected in the eyes.


For this research, 76% of the infected rats survived with the help of capsaicin injection in comparison to the other 20% rats who were no treated with capsaicin.

Aside from these benefits, it enriched with magnesium, folate, potassium, and Vitamin A. It is composed of a greater of 77000 units of Vitamin A. It is also composed of 160mg of Vitamin C.
